Understanding what limits the person
Assessment considers symptom behaviour, tolerated positions, movement, strength, sensation and daily activities, while screening for signs that require medical review.
Treatment may include education, progressive exercise, manual therapy and, when indicated, calibrated body-weight unloading with the SPAD system.
- Acute or persistent low back pain
- Sciatica and medically assessed radicular pain
- Disc herniation or protrusion
- Return to work and daily activities
Assessment is always individual. This information does not replace diagnosis or personalised advice.
Frequently asked question
Before you start
Should I avoid movement if I have a disc herniation?
Prolonged immobility is generally not helpful. Movement should be selected and dosed according to symptoms, neurological findings and medical advice.
